Own your infrastructure
Every Lovable app runs on infrastructure you don't fully control. Moving to your own Supabase project and your own Vercel deployment means your database, your domain, and your bill belong to you — not a builder's account you're renting.
Sound familiar?
The specific symptoms we see most often.
If the Lovable-managed Supabase project is tied to someone else's account, or you've never exported a schema backup, you don't have a real disaster-recovery plan.
Hosting and database costs routed through a builder platform are rarely the cheapest way to run a production app once real users show up.
A freelancer or agency can't move fast inside a Lovable project the way they can in a plain Supabase + Vercel + GitHub stack everyone already knows.
Custom middleware, background jobs, or a specific package version Lovable's generation flow doesn't support — all trivial once the code lives in a normal repo.
Builder tools bundle your database, hosting, and generation flow together on purpose — it's what makes the fast first version possible. The tradeoff shows up later: your production app is running on someone else's opinionated setup, with your own account access to the details often partial at best.
Migrating doesn't mean rebuilding. Supabase is already Postgres with a normal API in front of it — the database itself moves largely intact. The work is in re-pointing auth, storage, and edge functions cleanly, then deploying the frontend to Vercel under your own domain and account.
We check what's actually exportable today — schema, storage buckets, auth users, edge functions — before touching anything.
Schema, RLS policies, storage, and auth migrated with policies re-verified, not just copy-pasted.
Your domain, your environment variables, your billing — properly separated for preview and production this time.
Every auth flow, write path, and storage upload tested against the new project before we call it done.
You get admin access to every account involved, plus a short doc explaining what lives where.
